Before the shoot, take the time needed to figure out what’s important to you, what you do and don’t want the photos to convey… and to help you feel at ease. Create a relaxed atmosphere. How does a photo shoot in the studio in Willebroek work?
Everything starts with good preparation. Beforehand, you will receive a document from us with clothing and makeup advice, so you know exactly what to bring. In the studio, we start with a coffee and a short introduction. We discuss who you are, what you do, and what first impression you want to convey. Then, together with our stylist Tine, you select the right outfit.
Optionally, makeup services can be provided by Our makeup artists, An or Emeline. During the photo shoot, you’ll receive detailed guidance on posing and facial expressions. Between takes, we’ll review and select the best photos together right away. At the end, we’ll finalize the best shots that match the look you’re going for. The selected photos will be professionally retouched and delivered in various formats within one to two weeks after the shoot.
Can I change my outfit during the shoot?
Yes, definitely. We recommend bringing at least three and no more than seven outfits. Depending on how many photos you need, you can change outfits once or twice. This gives us enough variety to achieve a strong end result.
How long does an individual profile photo session take?
On average, a session lasts two and a half hours, sometimes a little longer—up to a maximum of three and a half hours. We take plenty of time for the initial meeting, outfit selection, the photo shoot itself, and selecting the best images. This way, we prioritize quality over speed.
Are you also booking makeup and hair services? If so, please allow an extra hour.
What happens if I am not satisfied with the result?
You only purchase the photos you are completely satisfied with. If you are not satisfied with certain photos, we will select other images or simply take new photos.
Can I make an appointment for a profile photo session online?
Yes you can, just book your headshot session through our online calendar: our booking page !
How much does it cost on average to have a profile picture taken?
The total cost of a professional photo shoot to have business profile photos/portraits taken is completely up to you.
The price of new profile photos is a sum of the start-up cost and the number of photos you choose.
The average number of images chosen varies widely between 4 and 18 images.
Completely dependent on what you need them for.
If you only want to upgrade your LinkedIn profile picture you may get by with 4 photos, but if you have a set of images best to be able to forward for lectures, interviews, ... then chances are very good that you will pick some more.
We always discuss this at the start of the photo shoot as well!
At the end of the photo session, you decide how many we'll have left over!
What usage license do I get with the purchase of the photos?
Standard retouching & license: €75.00/photo
Standard post-processing includes light retouching; removal of temporary blemishes from your skin, reduction of walling and background correction. Delivery of files in ready-made files for small print (size 2500x2500px), web, Linkedin and other social media via download link. Editorial retouching & license: €275.00/photo
Magazine & beauty retouching. Editorial retouching with more detail, intended for advertising and large format printing. Delivery of files in ready-made files in highest resolution (size +/- 5000x5000px) for print, small print, web, Linkedin and other social media via download link.

Depending on how busy we are, the standard delivery time is within one week.
If you need the photos extremely quickly, we offer a 24-hour service for a small additional fee.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Please let us know as soon as possible. The setup fee covers not only the photo session, but also the preparation and the time slot we reserve exclusively for you.
- More than 14 calendar days in advance: You can cancel or reschedule the appointment at no charge.
- Between 14 days and 48 hours in advance: You may reschedule the appointment once to a new date. In the event of cancellation, 50% of the setup fee remains due.
- Less than 48 hours in advance or in case of a no-show: The full setup fee remains due.
Any external costs already incurred, such as a booked makeup artist, venue rental, or other preparation costs, will always be charged.
In the event of illness or an exceptional situation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will then work with you to determine what is reasonable and feasible.

Yes, at Fotostudio Kwinten, you can book a business portrait session that includes professional makeup. Our makeup artist creates a polished, natural look that works perfectly for LinkedIn profile photos, company websites, and personal branding images.
Are the professional portraits retouched or edited?
