Procedure for a business shoot in our photo studio
The success of FOTOSTUDIO KWINTEN is partly due to a good and clear workflow. Good preparation and guidance before, during and after the photo shoot is the magic recipe to ensure that the end result is always top notch.

Coffee & image analysis
Good preparation is half the battle
We start the shoot with a delicious coffee (or tea) and during an exploratory search we find out who you are, what your professional role and target audience is, as well as how you communicate and in what style.
Based on some very specific questions, we try to sketch a professional profile of you and create a checklist of what the images should meet.

Styling & Makeup
Clothes make the man?
After the profiling interview, Tine will work with you to determine the appropriate outfit(s)
determine which we will use during the photo shoot.
Clothes make the man, it's an old adage. But still relevant today.
That's why you get a lot of useful clothing tips (and makeup trivia) so you know what to bring to the photo shoot and what to leave as decoration in your closet
may leave hanging.
If you're not used to wearing a lot of makeup, then we don't recommend doing your own experimenting yourself. A natural look is essential in business portraits, our makeup artists specialize in this. Adding them is highly recommended for both women and men.

But by the way, you don't have to worry about never looking good in photos.
We almost exclusively photograph people who have no experience in posing.
So don't worry, Kwinten will guide you in finding the right facial expressions, posture and body language. By using the right lighting, we will enhance your best side. Meanwhile, Tine will keep an eye on your clothes and hair.
An intermediate selection also gives you extra confidence so that the end result will be even better. We keep shooting until we feel we have more
more than enough material to continue working with.
Thus, we can repeat certain poses until we achieve the perfect result.

THE key to a strong image!
Making the right image choice is just as important as making the right images. In doing so, choosing is not always losing!
On a large screen in our studio we already make a first selection during the photo shoot. And at the end of the photo shoot we choose the final images together.
How many images we are left with depends on your goal and available resources. But the goal should always be that afterwards you have a set of images that you can work with for years to come.
Post-processing & Delivery
We carefully edit the selected images and use subtle retouching to polish off temporary imperfections, including tired eyes. Wrinkles indicate your age; embrace that ‘life experience’ as an asset. Only by explicit request and if really necessary, we are going to soften the heavier wrinkles.
One to a maximum of two weeks after the photo shoot, you will receive a download link in your mailbox containing the images in various ready-to-use formats.
