Spotlight on the Decat family: sweet 16

With that idea, they came to the planning session a few weeks before the photo shoot. But they soon realized that this was actually a unique opportunity to get much more out of such a moment by having a ‘photo party’ with the whole family instead of just with their friends.
The plan changed, and instead of her friends, Gitte brought her mom, dad, and brother.
It was indeed hers photo shoot, but the rest of the family was also allowed to have their picture taken with her!
The day of the photo shoot was a real party! It started in the dressing room with choosing the right outfit for her individual photos, the photos with her brother and parents, and a separate outfit for her amazing dance moves and jumps!
It was fun for us to see Gitte enjoying herself, because posing was absolutely no effort for her. Experienced dancers know their bodies, and Gitte was no exception. She knew immediately what we meant when we told her how to stand and strike a pose.
Wonderful to see how mom and dad also enjoyed a radiant daughter. Even when we took photos together with the family, the fun continued. We felt the love that was there, even if the typical brother-sister rivalry was not to be missed 🙂 .
During the viewing It was all surprise: ‘We didn't expect this.’ Gitte is clearly no longer a little girl, but a real ‘young woman.’.
Choosing the photos wasn't easy. Well, it never is...
In the end, we selected a beautiful series of photos of both the family and Gitte individually.
As a final result, we created two different boxes: one measuring 25x50cm for the living room, mainly containing family photos and a few of Gitte alone, and one measuring 25x35cm for Gitte's room, containing only photos of her alone.
So you see, a 16th birthday can create wonderful memories for the whole family.
