Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to make an appointment for a passport photo, or can I just walk in?
We take passport photos by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays. That way you never have to wait too long.
What does a passport photo cost?
A set of 4 passport photos costs €18.00
How soon will the passport photo be ready?
Passport photos are ready immediately. Within 5 minutes you are outside again. only with very small children the passport photo may take a little longer.
Are your passport photos approved for official documents (such as passport or driver's license)?
Yes, we take official passport photos and guarantee their validity.
Should they exceptionally still be rejected, we make new ones free of charge (upon issuance of the rejection certificate from the municipality).
Can you take passport photos for babies or children?
We take passport photos of everyone from babies as young as one week old.
Tip: if you don't need them right away and aren't going on a trip right away, wait until your baby is a little bigger and the neck muscles are developed firmly enough to hold the head upright on their own. And at that age, your baby also remains more recognizable.
So, it can be done, but better wait until your baby is 3 months old.
Can I smile in a passport photo?
Full smiles are unfortunately not allowed. Teeth should not be visible in the photo and your face should not change too much because of the smile.
But a nice smile is certainly allowed. Feel free to be sympathetic in the photo.
No need for a bandit photo 😉
Can I keep my glasses on in a passport photo?
Inden we can photograph you regulation with glasses, we will be happy to do so.
This is not always technically possible.
Some glasses are too bulbous, have too heavy frames or are too large.
At least no reflection (from our flashes) should be visible in the lenses of your glasses. Also, your eyes should be completely free and clearly visible and there should be no excessive shadow on your eyes from your frame.
